How it works
From a digital pattern to a wardrobe that feels beautifully your own.
1. Choose your pattern
Find a silhouette you love. Before ordering, read the product description for the recommended skill level, included files and fabric requirements. Maison Christine patterns are digital downloads; no finished garment or printed pattern is shipped.
2. Choose your size
Use our size guide and the notes supplied with your chosen pattern and compare it with your body measurements. Choose by measurements rather than your usual ready-to-wear size. Each size is supplied as a separate file, so you only need to print the size you are making.
3. Prepare your files
Save the files supplied with your order to your computer and extract any ZIP folders before opening the PDFs. Read the README and sewing instructions before printing or cutting. Check the product description for the exact contents of your pattern.
4. Choose your printing format
- A4 / US Letter: print at home and assemble the pages as instructed.
- A0: take the relevant file to a copy shop.
- Projector: use the supplied projector file with your calibrated sewing projector.
Print at 100% or actual size, without “fit to page”. Measure the test square before printing the full pattern. Adobe Acrobat Reader is recommended for opening and printing the PDFs.
5. Make it your own
Follow the English sewing instructions and check the pattern notes for seam allowances, fabric recommendations and construction details. A test garment is useful when checking the fit before cutting into your final fabric.
